The DVP/GM Tax Credits leads the AVS business unit, Tax Credits, which consists of a portfolio of two distinct business offerings, Work Opportunity Tax Credits and Business Incentives. The DVP/GM is responsible for the delivery of Tax Credits operational, strategic and market place objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for develop, manage, and execute plans for engagement project teams including: objectives, timelines, milestones, priorities, team member responsibilities, work products and engagement economics.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and facilitating the implementation of regulatory payroll tax payment and reporting changes for all federal, state, and local agencies. Works closely with software development business analysts and developers to submit change requests and ensure implemented changes meet agency requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible to manage the s&u exemption certificate process for the company and its subsidiaries. Coordinate with the income tax manager on the reconciliation of state apportionment information with the annual s&u and property tax records.
In this role, you will be responsible for
performing indirect tax research (as needed), assisting with coordinating and managing third party indirect tax service providers, and assisting with the indirect tax portion of external and internal audits.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide the engagement partner responsible for the tax work with timely status updates and communicates and involves the partner in the resolution of client service, tax or accounting problems/issues as they arise.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation of the income tax footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings. Coordinate with other members of the Accounting Department to ensure that income taxes are properly recorded and disclosed.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to overall office efficiency by providing feedback on staff performance, participating in initiatives for on-going staff development, and developing a teaming culture (through informal social and professional events).
Seeking for a position of Tax Manager- State & Local Tax with knowledge of a variety of state and local tax laws, including multi-state income tax planning, compliance, preparing returns, income tax accounting, controversies, restructuring, due diligence and audit defense.
