The Financial Analysts primary responsibility is to analyze financial information such as, but not limited to, company financial statements, personal financial statements, and credit reports in order to underwrite the risk of extending trade credits limits primarily on an unsecured basis and expand the purchasing power of ScanSource, Inc. (ScanSource) customers.
In this role, you will conduct research and/or special studies, models basic to moderately complex future short & long term financial results, reconciles actual results against projections and explains variances.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that an appropriate Risk Management framework exists for the primary trading and lending desks and products that they offer, with particular emphasis on Counterparty Credit Risk. These tasks include the identification, measurement and aggregation, approval, pricing and reporting of counterparty credit risk.
The role has primary responsibility for coordinating the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process including analysis of cost variances, producing the mill Financial Statements and assisting in all other mill and corporate reporting needs.
This position will prepare financial and business related analyses, perform research on business performance, and prepare forecasts and analyze trends in finance as well as general business conditions.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform extensive quantitative ad-hoc projects, deep financial analysis related to the Company's debt and capital security footprint and other Global Funding activities and prepare management reporting.
