Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and configuring multiple WebSphere MQ instances. They must excel in MQ technical knowledge, software support and technical guidance in support of business critical systems. They will be responsible for over 30 internal and external MQ connections supporting a national security system.
The primary functions of this position are to configure, operate, and maintain both Windows and Linux OS based infrastructure components including domain services, group policy configurations, and patching/compliance operations, and end user support.

Assist Engineering in the support of system software maintenance in Post-Production, On-Air, Servers, and Archive systems hardware to achieve minimal production down time or on-air programming loss due to system software failure.
Support the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and support of hardware, software, and communications node equipment in mission and administrative environment as primary duties of this position.
The Systems Administrator will need to manage and maintain the networks and systems along with being familiar with e-mail systems in a client server environment. The Systems Administrator must have experience with SQL databases and have a minimum of 5 years of systems administration experience.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop remediation scripts to automate as much as possible; evaluate, test, and define configuration item stack for all hardware and software components within the architecture specific to Unix/Linux derivative operating system servers.
