The Systems Administrator will need to manage and maintain the networks and systems along with being familiar with e-mail systems in a client server environment. The Systems Administrator must have experience with SQL databases and have a minimum of 5 years of systems administration experience.
The Systems Administrator supports a wide variety of customers including MDA/BCX, MDNT, BNOSC, JFCC IMD and GMD. This support provides IT break/fix for users in response to Remedy Incidents, preventative maintenance activities as scheduled and activities needed to satisfy Requests for Service (RFS).

Install, configure, manage, monitor, secure, and sustain Windows and Unix servers. Install and troubleshoot applications running in these environments. Troubleshoot software, network and hardware issues related to build and operations.

Responsible for installing and maintaining systems, comprised of Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements in support of DISA STIG baseline requirements.
This position provides IT Windows/Linux/UNIX system administration services including server installation, integration and configuration of the system, as well as the adherence and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) and NISPOM requirements in support as a Systems Administrator for SSC DoD Classified areas.
