Will support C2 software development on both front end geovisualization and backend systems for air or maritime defense programs, which include mission planning, track management, engagement management, and weapons management over fiber/copper networks and tactical data links.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in leading software development teams in both agile and waterfall environment; extensive software design and implementation experience in Web services including WSDL, XML, JSON, etc.
The Candidate will work on the A2100TR Program as a flight software (FSW) developer, unit tester, integrator, test and verification engineer. Primary duties include FSW development, integration, FSW requirements verification and validation. V&V activities are performed on several test bed architectures.
Analyze work process and business challenges during needs analysis. Studies system applications used by various departments in their business process and develops appropriate user documentation and training curricula.
The candidate is expected to have strong software development skills, fundamental analytic skills and have knowledge of requirements generation, product development, test execution and verification activities.
The candidate must be able to contribute to all phases of the software life cycle supporting multiple MDA intended use categories, with a focus on interoperability, performance, security, and usability.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems and/or for providing analysis and engineering of functional aspects of software and hardware architecture and system support.
The candidate will develop Embedded Linux based firmware and interact with other Engineering team members to perform full software engineering life-cycle tasks, including requirements analysis, design implementation, integration test, documentation and maintenance.
