Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directs and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews; and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in all phases of the NPI life cycle; including planning, executing, and completing projects from requirements development through entry into service.
Provide leadership for the development and execution of integrated program plans including, program planning and reviews. Works closely with regional, innovation centers of excellence and product line managers to ensure programs are properly prioritized and executed.
Upcoming projects include and are not limited to: production planning and analysis, distribution expansion project work, standard operating procedure creation and documentation, labor and food cost reduction analysis, warehouse improvements, and other process improvements.
Working knowledge of usaf space control systems (counter communications systems (ccs), space test and training range (strr), big top, -standardized process for interference recognition and targeting (spirit), raidrs deployable ground segment (rdgs), other classified systems).
Responsible for managing complex enterprise-wide program(s) consisting of multiple projects. Ensures successful integration of several projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
Responsible for leading all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and serves as the main point of contact for those projects. Takes projects end to end from original concept through final implementation. Monitors and drives project performance by implementing project management best practices.
The PM will be responsible for optimizing performance and gross margin. This is to be accomplished in conjunction with practicing ethical business transactions, adhering to the corporate policies, values and beliefs while pursuing the companys short and long range goals.
Work with Delivery Excellence, resource managers, technical staff and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project deliverables to ensure they are planned / executed in alignment with the overall program / project strategy and plan.
