The Financial Reporting Analyst/Developer position is part of the Internal Reporting Group within the Dish Accounting Department. The Internal Reporting Group actively participates in preparing Dishs financial statements and provides end user support for our financial systems. This role is responsible for performing month end close processes, maintaining various accounting systems, developing/maintaining reports, and providing end user training.
In this role, you will develop, implement and update effective financial and operational information systems to meet current reporting needs and future enhancements. The selected candidate will also analyze the ongoing profitability of all new businesses and/or programs entered into by the Company.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist and prepare, documents for multiple financial activities such as PPBE, different Program Types and data, IAW fiscal and appropriation laws and policies.
In this role, you will provide support for monthly/quarterly analysis of financial results for all aspects of financial statements, including gross margin, operating income, inventory, net working capital, and cash flow.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare accurate fiscal year-end rolling department revenue and expense forecasts using best methods of trending, predictive modeling, and metric-based analysis, as well as management input.
In this role, the selected candidate will validate, document and maintain models to describe loan and deposit client behavior; explain behavior of various balance sheet components leveraging Asset Liability Management model; build stress test scenarios and document the banks exposure to basis risk and option risk.
In this position, you will evaluate the financial position and credit worthiness of customers within an assigned portfolio of responsibility. Research, review and analyze detailed customer financial statements, bank/trades, and news and public filings (litigation, secularization, etc) to set appropriate credit limits.
