The purpose of this position is to keep management updated on status of work in progress, material availability and any potential problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
The qualified individual will have an integral role with duties to prepare, develop, and coordinate the integrated master plan (IMP) and the resource-loaded integrated master schedule (IMS) which captures all work scope to meet all program objectives.
The role will perform more complex aspects of planning/scheduling, project controls and administrative scheduling functions, with minimal supervision. The Planner/ Scheduler is responsible for analyzing data to develop critical path network (CPN) schedules on proposals and contracts; they monitor progress and report updates in a timely manner to satisfy proposal and/or contact release dates.
As the Demand Planner, you will create and maintain forecast models for different product lines, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources.
Undertake a broad range of assignments to provide in-depth business analytical and modeling support to understand market dynamics, including identifying trends, competitor positions and emerging opportunities.
