The Manager, Component Engineering, will lead and manage a distributed workforce of component engineers. Working with Eaton supply chain, R&D, procurement, and manufacturing teams, the manager will be responsible for purchased electronic components for Eaton products. In addition, the manager will lead and/or play a key role in strategic initiatives including management of component obsolescence, supplier selection, alternate source selection, part and vendor standardization, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
