The candidate must have experience in software engineering, development or management, and/or systems engineering. Must be knowledgeable of the software engineering and system engineering disciplines as well as understanding the DoD acquisition processes and relevant cyber security processes, such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
The QA Analyst is responsible for writing and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases. QA Analysts are responsible for clearly documenting the results of their testing. QA Analysts perform various types of testing including regression, integration, and system testing. Analysts may work on Wintel, Mainframe, and/or Web applications. QA Analysts work collaboratively with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and UAT testers.
Serve on a team of risk evaluation and assurance professionals, working to provide an independent Second Line of Defense approach to risk-based monitoring and evaluation by focusing on current, high impact compliance risks, developing assessments, and providing input over control effectiveness through formal reporting, as well as monitoring remediation activities.
Assist as needed on any project where performance testing assistance is requested; provide guidance and leadership to the Performance Testing Team in performance testing best practices and use of performance testing tools.
