The Registered Nurse will work under the supervision of the Unit Manager following the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice, and code of ethics within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model.
The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process including completion of an accurate Minimum Data Set (MDS) and development of the interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
Provides clinical services within the scope of practice, as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
In this role, you will be responsible for actively participates in department or practice-specific quality improvement efforts. Identifies opportunity for quality improvement to colleagues and management.
