The Technical Writer will develop customer facing and internal documents that convey the functions of the devices currently being developed in a variety of publications, from knowledgebase articles to user manuals and installation guides to marketing datasheets.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop, write, and support technical staff in the preparation of a wide variety of technical documentation, from requirements analysis, design, manuals, fielding documents, and network security documents.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to provides documentation contribution within an area of expertise as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the research and development division.
The Technical Writer will also assist with requirements analysis, assist with user acceptance testing, and perform other duties as assigned by client staff. Time reports in Clarity showing the incurred hours will serve as the deliverables for this effort.
This position requires analytical thinking and a good understanding of scientific processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required, as are computer skills including ms office software and database management.
In this position, you will Provide technical writing services for a variety of business and client requests. Compose or co-author procedure manuals, user guides, job aids, notification memos on changes to processes and procedures for existing clients, and various templates and presentations.
