The Information Security Engineer is responsible for the management and administration of all Information Security related systems and applications. This includes performing and/or coordinating network penetration tests, system/application vulnerability assessment scans, risk assessment reviews, and security application administration (Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention Systems, Data Loss Prevention, Security Event/Incident Monitoring, Web Filtering, etc.).
Systems engineering experience with exposure in one or more of the following domains: requirements analysis and development; system performance analysis; integration and verification; and subsystem or system architecture development.
Investigate component cost and weight reduction, and conduct feasibility for packaging electrical components and brackets throughout the vehicle as well as managing development projects, negotiating development & purchasing strategies, and coordinating with other departments, suppliers, and manufacturing.
Manage technical requirements in the crew station and human factors areas, to include geometry and layout, controls and displays, pilot-vehicle interface, alerting systems, transparencies and optical qualities, and helmet mounted displays.
overseeing the testing of the related vehicle systems, negotiating the hardware and software interfaces to integrate the systems into the vehicle as well as instrumenting and troubleshooting vehicles for testing, analyzing test date, and recommending solutions for failed tests.
