In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day patient scheduling, consulting with physician and other team members, documentation, continuous quality improvement, guest relations, and billing for patient services rendered.
In this role, you will develop appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the speech language pathology treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to work under stress and handle multiple tasks; ability to follow procedures and adhere to details is essential; ability to deal tactfully and effectively with other personnel.
The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of speech-language pathology services including identification, assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
In this role, you will assist the physician in assessing the patients level of functioning and the development ( and revision, as necessary ) of the Plan of Care by applying appropriate tests for speech, hearing and language disorders.
This position is responsible for the evaluation of and the implementation of treatment program for all referred patients. The Speech Pathologist contributes to the development and the upgrading of treatment programs and protocols.
In this role, you will be able to recognize deviations from the norm and is competent in administering a variety of diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions for the age groups and diagnosis '' that they treat.
In this position, you will evaluate and treat communication, oral-motor, swallow, and
cognitive-language disorders, to counsel and teach patient/ caregiver; to collaborate in
multidisciplinary team approach to service; to plan for discharge to ensure patients understand abilities, limits, and prognosis.
