In this role, the selected candidate will perform a full range of pharmacist procedures in an inpatient and out-patient setting, deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities of the facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for
under the general supervision of the director of pharmacy, and according to standard procedure, performs all duties necessary to coordinate the daily operation of all departmental services and programs; supervises pharmacists and technicians.
The Pharmacist will focus on high touch medication therapy for patients with complex disease states. In this setting, the pharmacist may work in a variety of areas including dispensing, Medication Therapy Management, patient advocacy and therapy compliance.
In this role, the selected candidate oversees operations of the Pharmacy Department including customer service, profitability, investment control and compliance with federal, state and local, laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures.
In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, applicable to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
In this role, you will provides medication therapy management including examination of member medical records, performing a comprehensive medication review and communicating with members and providers, including outbound calls to members to discuss their medications.
