In this role, you will perform variety of network engineering tasks, either independently or under supervision, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of integrated networks, including personnel hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment.
The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Company's enterprise voice and data networks are reliable and secure through proper planning, design, implementation, and maintenance. The Network Engineer provides a high-level of customer service to vendors and business organizations and performs a variety of tasks with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
In this role, the selected candidate will plan and conduct complex software/hardware product evaluations; develops and recommends technical strategies and solutions to management; conduct assessments of risk, cost, and return on investment scenarios and impact as well as potential compatibility issues with existing hardware/software.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an expertise in automotive engineering, service tool interfaces and related technologies such as but not limited to DoIP, UDS/ODX, J1939/CAN, USB and Ethernet.
In this role, the selected candidate will be managing the application of cybersecurity requirements, developing and maintaining new cybersecurity requirements, and validating the security level of vehicles.
In this role, the selected candidate will hold network information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer's existing network design and technical requirements of new network designs.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing hardware and software specifications, performing confirmation testing on the actual car or simulator, troubleshooting and fixing related problems, writing and presenting reports, working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues, researching new technologies and market trends, and marking proposals for future products.
