The HR Business Partner optimizes the performance of human capital across a designated division via strategic relationships with leadership and staff. The HRBP creates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service that reflects the objectives of the division and organization.
Stay abreast of business and workplace trends. Analyze people processes, information and trends to make recommendations to leaders of the business for continuous improvement. Ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes.
The Senior HR Partner is an experienced HR professional, who has a broad experience in various HR areas of expertise. The Partner builds a valuable and trusted relationship with internal clients and transfers requests and solutions to/from the business unit.
Serves as business partner to various client groups. Understands the organizational structure for each department; develops and maintains knowledge of the business unit needs; and, provides HR support to team members at all levels of the organization.
Partner with the Recruiting Department, for identifying and filling key vacancies for their region or client group. Also takes a leadership role in the selection of candidates for key positions within the region or department.
Responsible for proofing and auditing the payroll, monitoring data entry compliance, and resolving any discrepancies with compensation plans, union contracts, letters of offer, civil service guidelines, or Miami policies and procedures.
Spends time, at least weekly, in the plant, checking in with employees, and assisting with questions they may have. Communicate company benefit programs seeking advice/clarification as needed from the hr manager or corporate human resources staff.
