In this role, the selected candidate will provide day-to-day consultation and guidance to agency executives and local office staff regarding human resources functions/issues (e.g. employee relations, family medical leave, disability and workers compensation, performance management, policy and procedures).
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all human resource related activities. Provide guidance, assistance, and clarification regarding company policies, procedures, and documentation for multiple sites.
Assisting and supporting managers with all employee relations areas including communication, employee engagement, retention, disciplinary issues to ensure an engaged, productive workforce in a positive work environment.
In this role, you will proven ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written, with people at all levels of the company and external contacts. You have solid decision making skills and are a proven leader.
Spends time, at least weekly, in the plant, checking in with employees, and assisting with questions they may have. Communicate company benefit programs seeking advice/clarification as needed from the hr manager or corporate human resources staff.
