In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department to assure that each resident receives the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with their comprehensive plan of care.
The director of nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.
In this role, you will provide leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the emergency services patient care departments. Responsible for administrative functions, including strategic and operational planning, including staffing and directing personnel. Provides mechanism for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency of personnel. Plans and markets programs and services to medical staff, and community.
In this role, you will participate in planning, priority setting and the development of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements and ACA, NCCHC and State standards.
In this role, you will ensure positive outcomes are accomplished for residents; responsible to develop systems and work schedules that respect residents lifestyle and ensure the resident reaches the highest attainable level of functioning; makes rounds at least daily; follows up daily on each shift to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded.
