The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans, analyzing and reporting financial and operational results, developing business cases, and capital planning activities.
Analyze existing store portfolio as leases expire or new opportunities within existing markets become available; ensure accurate forecasts and budgets for capital spend and resulting expense throughout all cost centers.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with the Head of Finance, Lending Financial Planning and Analysis on special projects including serving as project lead with implied responsibility for meeting project objectives and timely completion.
Prepares monthly financial reporting including variance and financial statement analysis. Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications on future results.
Lead the development of all weekly and monthly financial close, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and improving the use and ease of interpretation by your Operations partners.
Performs economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
The ideal individual must be flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity. Individual must be able to commit to the time requirements of the position, which may demand extended hours as required.
Assist with coordinating and providing support in preparing the annual Plan and bi-annual Long Range Plan with the US sales leadership and other key business leaders in both the sales and marketing organizations.
Manage monthly and quarterly division consolidated financial analysis and reporting deliverables. Ensure timely analysis of the business performance and all reporting deliverables within the Division and to Wolters Kluwer Corporate Finance team.
