Responsible for financial recordings and reconciliations related to both on-shore and off-shore insurance including professional liability, general liability, workers compensation and miscellaneous insurance.
The Sr. Financial Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of enterprise accounting and reporting duties under limited supervision. The Sr. Financial Accounting Analyst will prepare standard reports to monitor on-going sales progress across all product lines and preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and other information for use by management and or third parties.
Provide financial modeling, decision support and recommendations. Track project metrics and assess financial implications, attend weekly project review meetings, and provide updates for key stakeholders on risk and cost.
Conduct special financial and business related analysis as requested in such areas as margin and expense performance, productivity, capital spending, project IRR, and working capital. Make recommendations to improve performance.
Work directly with Sales Vice President, Corporate Account & Sales Managers, and Marketing to provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiation, proforma P&Ls, profit management, pricing strategy and execution, contract management and rebate analysis.
This position plays a critical business role that help develop and implement all the appropriate processes to insure that the margin improvement targets are created, progress being tracked and supported by analytics.
The purpose of this position is to conduct the more technically complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. Additionally, this position leads the preparation of budget/forecast for assigned areas as well as monthly budget to actual analysis. The Senior Financial Accounting Analyst may also provide direction and training to less experienced accounting staff on an informal basis.
The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning Analysis is responsible for a full range of planning, forecasting and analysis activities including creating financial models, incorporating guidance received on validated assumptions; as well as challenging data and information integrity.
