We currently have full time openings for Days, PMs, and NOC shifts for Registered Nurses (RNs). Persons applying must be experienced in a long term care environment, have excellent clinical skills, the ability to work independently, be a good team player and have strong leadership skills. Supervisor experience would be a plus.
Reporting to the Director and/or theNurse Manager of the department and working under general supervision delivers comprehensive, high quality, individualized nursing care based upon knowledge andexperience, the nursing process and leadership skills.
The selected candidate will develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
The nurse uses clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization management program. Utilizes clinical experience and skills in a collaborative process to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services/benefits for members.
Provide skilled professional nursing care to patient/family/caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations by the State Board of Registered Nursing and company policies when called upon after hours.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
