Develops, implements, and coordinates product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
In this role, the selected candidate will be
responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the quality assurance program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Recommends improvement, corrective action plans, and may recommend vendor selection based on quality performance results. Where deviations from planned installation are found, Quality team will evaluate the change for possible process improvement or vendor corrections.
The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership to a large or complex plant in the area of maintaining and improving the quality systems as prescribed by the Division and the corporate standards.
Work closely with manufacturing and product development teams and participate in pro-active functions that impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality and provide new product support.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of clinical records and files to comply with Conditions of Participation (COPs), using measurements, as licensure, certification, and accreditation results.
Leading the efforts and adherence to quality management systems including ISO 9000 and IATF 16949; developing and approving policies and procedures to support these systems; auditing production processes for achievement of quality expectations.
