Design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, debug, and commission control hardware and software systems for cutting machine tools incorporated into custom designed work cells for customers in a variety of industries such as construction, mining, primary metals, wind energy, and aerospace.
This position requires a formally trained and experienced Lean Six-Sigma practitioner, a person that is able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and "ever changing" environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal, professional, and collaborative skills.
Design, develop, implement and maintain automated and manual test plans to address areas such as load testing, functional testing, unit testing, regression testing, negative testing, integration testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Develop, design, prototype, program, debug, and commission control systems for the following: linear and rotary motors, servomotors, actuators (electromagnetic, pneumatic, and hydraulic), sensors (optical and touch based), programmable controllers and IO interfaces including touchscreens.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing in support of software test requirements. The SQA Engineer develops and expands test suites and test cases, and maintains the automation infrastructure. In addition, the SQA Engineer will execute and report on planned tests, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test automation solutions as needed.
Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving Level 2 system performance which includes: troubleshooting issues, improving process model accuracy and reliability, improving operational efficiency, and accuracy of databases.
