In this role, the selected candidate will provide basic nursing duties such as the recording of vital signs, audiograms, vision testing, urine collection, blood collection, spirometry, respirator fit testing, injections and basic first aid is required.
The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the interdisciplinary hospice team in the development of the comprehensive plan of care, assessment of patients, and participation in the identification of eligibility for Hospice Medicare Benefit. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the Hospice Medical Director.
This position will need to recognize the needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients, i.e., understand normal patterns of adult behavior and look for signs of normal aging prior experience with various age groups is preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for
designee assumes total care responsibility of patients presenting to Family Medicines Immediate Care site. Care scope includes triage, diagnosis, treatment, ordering of tests, and prescribing, as needed.
In this role, the selected candidate must have ability to spend at least 1 hour with a member in their home, which may be in understaffed or remote areas, in the presence of pets, or members / family members that are tobacco users.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in research as appropriate, ensures regulatory compliance, documents care according to standards, and prescribes in accordance with the collaborative agreement and State regulations.
