In this role, the selected candidate will analyze and document project objectives and requirements; scope project, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and develop timetables; create project and communication plans; coordinate efforts of internal process owners and subject matter experts; develop contingency plans to eliminate obstacles to on-time and on-budget completion of the project.
The Reporting Manager will also coordinate the worldwide Division Sarbanes Oxley process and internal and external audits. Additionally, the Reporting Manager will provide accounting support and guidance to other Diagnostic Divisions.
In this role, the selected candidate will drive the month-end and quarter-end close process which includes but not limited to preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, such as, (i) various accrued expenses, (ii) fixed assets and intangible assets, (iii) prepaid expenses, (iv) equity related activity, and (v) various cash and investment activities.
In this position, you will communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team as necessary under the supervision of the Director of Financial Reporting. This will include technical memoranda and other white-papers assessing accounting treatment and considerations as necessary.
