This position is primarily responsible for managing the overall day to day financial management of various GBS Departments. Delivering actionable reporting analysis, and providing value-added consulting related to business initiative decisions. Also, participate on cross-functional teams and key projects.
Develops, recommends, and implements financial and accounting procedures and operations to ensure that Educational Foundation resources are appropriately controlled in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Manage the internal grant distribution of funds.
Financial accounting including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
Process management and reporting
Financial analysis and general reporting including major accrual analysis, order backlog, advance payment, etc.
Compile the information needed and oversee the completion, filing and funding of all sales and use tax, property tax, excise tax and miscellaneous returns along with maintaining all supporting documentation.
The Corporate Accounting and Reporting Consultant is responsible for executing the day to day activities within the Financial Shared Services department. Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations, including those related to more complex accounting processes.
Participate in business planning; prepare and coordinate the factory budget with factory management; Perform revisions or simulations if needed. Work with team members to develop new product costing in accordance with costing standards.
