The candidate will be responsible for LabVIEW development to include PXI, LXI & GPIB Instrumentation control, TCP & UDP control, Windows & Real-Time Instrumentation control, custom signal conditioning design, relay control and Real-time hardware in the loop simulation.
Develop and manages the process of verifying that system and software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design. Coordinates test process including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designs, develops, and tests new and/or modifies existing web based test-related applications (ex. test tools, test data generation tools, test environment shakedown tools, etc) in languages such as Java, J2EE, .NET, Java Script, etc.
The process automation engineer will be involved in migration projects from existing control system to new ABB 800xA platform and the development and implementation of process control strategy, code, operator interfaces, and simulation for capital and small improvement projects.
In this role, you will also include daily reviews of systems to ensure normal maintenance functions are performing properly as well as execution of daily/weekly system health checks and system audit log reviews.
In this role, you must have experience working with automated testing frameworks at the unit, API, and/or integration levels; experience as a developer in a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) environment.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for setup, training, and operation of the MUSE/AFSERS software suite in both a test lab environment and a field environment. Involved in training exercises and event testing at various sites throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
