The SSE is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of a DOD CS/IA architecture, system, or system component for use within CE (computing environment), NE (network environment), and/or enclave environments in support of higher ranking CS/IA professionals.
In this role, the selected candidate will support encompasses the design, development, evaluation, and test of power filters, power supplies, and power distribution systems for in-house ground based and spaceflight hardware programs.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical oversight of a cross-functional team performing functional analysis to develop and document BMD system requirements supporting new or refined integrated build capabilities, concepts and design in the areas of Battle Management/Command Control/Communication (BM/C2/C), and RF/IR sensor management, and weapon systems.
In this role, the successful candidate will document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to the Missile Defense Agency Engineering Team Industry (MET-I) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) representatives.
As a building automation system engineer, you will also be responsible for performing programming, documenting, training and maintaining systems involving networks, system integration, open technologies, software based interfaces, HVAC controls, security systems and other facility/infrastructure management systems.
In this role, you will provide support for site control and data collection systems (DCS, PLC, SIS, PI,), which includes day-to-day troubleshooting and maintenance in addition to making and testing programming changes.
In this role, the selected candidate must have experience managing risks in accordance with LM AeroCode processes; strong systems engineering background; ability to effectively manage the full development life cycle.
The Engineer will interact with users, domain experts, designers, and testers to produce C2BMC artifacts. Coordinate with specialty engineers to integrate safety, security, human factors, and mission assurance. Manage requirements traceability. Work with test engineers to specify, verify, and analyze test cases and test results. Track and resolve engineering change requests.
