The successful candidate will research diagnostic information and collaborate with other support areas as necessary to develop comprehensive solutions; candidate must have strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with other team members, end users, and other support teams.
Provide direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the operation and maintenance of multiple system environments; this position will be the Sr. level between the Linux Administrators and the Business Unit Users to respond to system management alerts to handle system/operations exceptions within the assigned enterprise systems of product offerings.
Daily Operational work that includes security monitoring, working security tickets, security and data/logs analysis, forensic analysis, host configuration audits, vulnerability scans, FW rule reviews, and other security tasks.
The candidate will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisement to the Avenger Product office. Exercise knowledge of systems engineering principles, provide recommendations to the product manager, review and assess plans and documentation in support of the ongoing upgrade and development efforts of the Avenger Weapon Systems.
Position requires skills, capabilities and knowledge required to interface with program level representatives as well as engineers and other technical personnel designing, developing and delivering flight elements.
Prepares and delivers results in oral presentations and/or written documents. Provides guidance to less experienced engineers. Support engineering improvement initiatives such as tool enhancements and standard work procedures.
