The Quality Engineer will be responsible to manage the Quality process for the Quality department. This will include; track engineering changes, produce PPAP/PSW packages for Customer, present PSW status to management and Customer, Enter data into Customer systems, such as LIONS. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible to assist in investigating quality issues, and following up with suppliers. The position will also involve preparing reports and presentations for management.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in the automotive industry, customer and supplier quality, root cause analysis and corrective action, parts product testing, supplier audits, TS16949, warranty returns, FMEA, PPAP, product launches, test plans, etc.

In this role, the selected candidate will ensure compliance with Class II Medical Devices including but not limited to, the Medical Device Directive, ADR/Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED), FDA/21 CFR 820, and certification of DOT-4L.
In this role, the selected candidate performs and coordinates internal audits/training to ensure continuing compliance with quality system standards (ISO 9001 & 14001) and the manufacture of safe products.
In this role, the selected candidate will create and maintain the Sherman + Reilly manufacturing facility Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with Divisional Quality policies and procedures, and the ISO international standard.
