In this role, you will be responsible for working with the project stakeholders to establish product designs based on provided requirements and develop fully tested software to meet established requirements.
In this role, you will work with the production plant to assure timely and proper installation and qualification of the capital equipment occurs, program expectations are met (financial and performance) and a smooth and effective hand-off is realized.
In this role, you will provide complex design concepts, material/design specifications, detailed part and assembly drawing preparation from 3D CAD package (NX and SolidWorks), analysis and appropriate follow-up.
The successful candidate should have experience in CNC machining operations, close tolerance assembly operations, CNC programming, tooling, Solid Works, AutoCad, project management, machine capability studies, root cause analysis and corrective action, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, capital equipment programs, tool, fixture, & gauge design, etc.
In this role, you will provide technical advice (to include training, guidance, support, and development assistance) to KAI engineers while guiding concept development through the appropriate application of analysis methodologies, ground test, and flight test to achieve a balanced design solution that meets customer needs.
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will provide technical resources to define, support and improve established processes and procedures in order to increase plant efficiencies and to achieve safety, quality and production goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
