Interacts with governmental agencies, academia, and industry to manage program execution. Demonstrates an understanding of and familiarity with technologies and manufacturing practices for composites, additive manufacturing, lightweight structures, and advanced finishing or coating techniques.
In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will provide technical resources to define, support and improve established processes and procedures in order to increase plant efficiencies and to achieve safety, quality and production goals.
The successful candidate should have experience in CNC machining operations, close tolerance assembly operations, CNC programming, tooling, Solid Works, AutoCad, project management, machine capability studies, root cause analysis and corrective action, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, capital equipment programs, tool, fixture, & gauge design, etc.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with unique technology that automates and monitors the user interfaces of desktop applications; analyze software while working with variety of languages and platforms.
