In this role, the selected candidate will facilitate all aspects of the sales process to include identifying new opportunities; developing sales solutions; providing technical assistance; closing sales opportunities.
This role will be responsible for coordinating and leading all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, cold calling, following up on leads, setting appointments, creating needs assessments, ROI analysis, providing and presenting prospects with proposals and contracts, reading buying signals, handling objections, and closing the sale.
In this role, you will establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
As the Discovery DAA, the objective of this role is to increase the number of suppliers subscribed to the Ariba Discovery Network and ensure that suppliers have a positive experience when using Discovery.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain current knowledge of market activities, including competitive products, pricing and policies, new technology, product specifications and possible new products.
