Our IT Infrastructure Engineer in Smyrna, Georgia is responsible for ensuring the stable delivery and operation of the regions information technology (IT) infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network and server infrastructures, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
Provide technical engineering services for the support of enterprise systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
Provide maintenance support and some software development for the sustainment phase of the JBCP program. Maintain the custom Linux operating system and apply appropriate security configurations using configuration management tools.
Working with Development, Product and other Infrastructure Services teams, the Senior Engineer will deliver an infrastructure solution that is technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business.
Assistance with the analysis of claims from external customers that are directed toward a leather issue, including MLB for Pro and Practice baseballs, retail accounts and end consumers who buy commercial balls for signings, our glove suppliers who purchase leather, and any other leather customers.
Participate in the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) involving the identification, assessment and authorization (formerly certification and accreditation), evaluation and analysis, and reporting of the compliance and residual risk of DoD and PM Apache information systems (tactical and non-mission) to governing security regulations.
Analyze requirements and identify strategies that maximize test coverage and/or improve system reliability and performance; prepare detail test plan and consult with Business Analysts on testing options and strategies.
