This position requires extensive use of Microsoft Excel and an advanced understanding of Excel functions, formulas, what-if analysis, macros, graphs and pivot tables. In addition, this position will require extensive communication and coordination among program team members, customers and internal functional support areas, thus strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing data assessments, dashboards (when applicable), monitor GL segment uses to proactively identify threshold exceptions to further investigate and provide insight and recommendations based on findings.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for various aspects of financial analysis, reporting, outlooking/business planning, monthly close, and special projects which support multiple groups within the Hospitality Americas Finance organization. This position will interact with Finance and several functional areas; and interface with multiple levels of management.
In this role, the selected candidate will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately; identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
Provide independent analysis to department directors regarding financial results and identification of potential improvements; participate actively in the monthly accounting close functions, annual budgeting process and balance sheet reconciliations.
