Requires knowledge of Hyperion Consolidation system, including Hyperion Report Writing system, as well as a good general accounting understanding. Must possess problem solving/critical thinking skills to get any issues resolved quickly as well as strong organizational and communication skills as dealing with many opco's.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing data assessments, dashboards (when applicable), monitor GL segment uses to proactively identify threshold exceptions to further investigate and provide insight and recommendations based on findings.
This position will provide financial support on a Fixed Price contract in multiple OCONUS locations. It requires the ability to manage complicated accounting structures and multiple finance systems in order to maintain cost control and profitability. Will need to work with functional teams to coordinate cost flows, manage multiple subcontractors and ensure accuracy of payroll and compliance with tax and local labor laws. As a high visibility program, this position will need to be able to brief upper management on program status regularly.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for various aspects of financial analysis, reporting, outlooking/business planning, monthly close, and special projects which support multiple groups within the Hospitality Americas Finance organization. This position will interact with Finance and several functional areas; and interface with multiple levels of management.
The analyst is responsible for the creation and delivery of a variety of reporting projects, including maintaining and updating access models, reconciling client's excel files to system results and assisting clients as needed.
In this role, the selected candidate will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately; identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
Provide independent analysis to department directors regarding financial results and identification of potential improvements; participate actively in the monthly accounting close functions, annual budgeting process and balance sheet reconciliations.
