Create and maintain a test plan that defines test methods and tools to be employed for the assigned project and accurately scope the required resources and other project parameters for assigned projects.
Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Serves as a Performance Test Engineer for the Integrated Personnel and Pay SystemArmy (IPPS-A). This position is responsible for managing/monitoring performance test activities for the IPPS-A ERP implementation across both the classified and unclassified instances. Also, assist with the creation of automation test scripts.
The selected candidate will provide system test and evaluation support to the Tomahawk Weapon System to include test tool development, system test analysis, system testing, general test support, software and hardware testing, configuration management, and system and software process improvement.
The successful applicant will support improvements in the design and implementation of testing methods; Review and evaluate requirements to assure verifiability of requirements; Document issues observed during testing and support root cause analysis investigations; Perform technical analysis of complete systems and provide inputs for system level evaluations.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong experience with structured Software Development Life Cycle and Quality Assurance processes, preferably with the Rational Unified Process (RUP); experience with CMM, or CMM/I.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with the development team to ensure a testing plan is developed and followed resulting in a high-quality application. The application will be built on modern open-source technologies with the desire to implement automated testing as part of the software lifecycle.
