Provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
The incumbent provides technical expertise in analysis of financial statements and employee benefit plan structures and costs, financial system design, and business practices; recommends cost-effective financial/business operations; and develops strategies to improve overall fiscal accountability.
Review and understand existing National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Intelligence Community (IC) program planning and execution processes to ensure an understanding and facilitate leveraging these process.
This position is responsible for application administration for selected systems and performing process analysis to oversee the efficient and effective operation of the Financial Systems applications and underlying architecture while also understanding the business functional requirements.
