Collaborates with hardware and software designers / engineers and analysts to develop, coordinate, analyze and evaluate hardware, software, or systems modeling and simulation - based studies and to examine ramifications of output and design interfaces with various design systems.
The Electrical Engineer will also provide general engineering support, to include but not limited to technical review of consultant design packages, technical support to active construction projects (submittal and RFI review, test report approval, field support, etc.), development of design and construction Statement of Work (SOW), cost estimates, and miscellaneous engineering tasks and analyses.
This position involves embedded systems development to the board level on projects that span motion control/robotics applications, sensor integration, special communications systems, and Size Weight and Power optimization.
Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, detailed analyses, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
The Controls Engineer will also provide technical information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirements.
