The DBA is responsible for the administration of multiple MS SQL databases that reside on the customers network. This individual is responsible for all database administration tasks including but not limited to installation, migration, maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, repair, backup, and replication.

The successful candidate will have proven database administration experience and s/he will be a key component of our DevOps team with a strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL DB and CA Erwin Data Modeler.
In this role, you will confer with users, gain an understanding of information needs, study systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigate problem areas. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for database administration, Unix-based database shell scripting, SQL and PL/SQL script creation and modifications, data validation and analysis, and report generation.
This position will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, documenting, and debugging database builds; testing applications in the development environment; supporting production oracle environments with production deployments and providing post-production support.
In this role, you will perform requirements analysis, design, proof-of-concept development, application development, and maintenance of Web sites, databases, user interfaces, and middle-tier business components. Troubleshoot and resolve system, database, and Web site anomalies. Support day-to-day operations and application administration.
