Plan, develop, implement, and manage Quality on assigned programs over their life cycle, ensuring that contractors meet their RESPONSIBILITIES for product quality in accordance with the contract requirements, and that systems fielded to Soldiers are of high quality and meet user requirements.
Work closely with internal and external customers including universities.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities include planning and directing implementation of equipment, process, or product modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide primary control system hardware/software support and process engineering/optimization to a variety of field personnel including operations, instrument technicians, process engineering and various members of the operations management teams.
Provides support to the Project Director and Contracting Officer in all contract administration matters, including negotiation of modifications and/or claims and interpretation of contract requirements.
A person in this role regularly interfaces with clients, design rule developers, process development engineers, device designers, device modelers, Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) developers, Design Rule Checking (DRC) coders, and client technical support engineers.
