In this role, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments.
The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats residents in accordance with orders of the physician through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a residents life.
The occupational therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. S/he directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
In this role, you will be responsible to assess/screen patient's daily living/work-related skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests of function to patients in their homes or other settings to assist the physician in evaluating the patient's level of function.
