In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for administering hardened Linux based systems assuring configuration control and automation where possible including sub-systems, patching, packaging, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security.
In this role, you will performs expert-level systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
In this role, you will provide computer systems support and associated networks. This support includes procuring, installing and maintaining computer system hardware and software and day-to-day operational support of all R&D computers.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide operational support and performance tuning of all Linux servers and applications; including performance of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks to support the program to include day-to-day system administration. The selected candidate will also be responsible for administering, and maintaining the database to operate at an optimal level.
In this role, you will install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
