Looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Generalist. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will contribute to a number of important functions such as onboarding, payroll, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
The selected candidate will have extensive experience prospecting; ensuring the prospect is in line with the company's objectives, qualifying, and closing new client engagements in the employee health and wealth management portfolio areas.
The Human Resources Generalist will provide administrative and general HR support for 200+ employees in the Mid-Atlantic Region which emcompasses the states of VA, MD ad WV. The HR Generalist reports to the Regional Director of Human Resources.
Resolve HR related issues, conduct research and provide interpretation of HR policies and business rules, develop and present HR briefings, and evaluate business practices/procedures while providing recommendations for improving performance.
Preparing applicant packages for component review, tracking applicant package status, providing reports and metrics on recruiting processes, communicating with applicants and employees to arrange appointments, and collecting, inputting, and disbursing information.
Work closely with senior leaders/managers to provide expertise and hands on support in multiple areas including: workforce planning, on boarding, employee retention, employee relations, management coaching, performance management and change management.
The HR Generalist will work closely with HR colleagues in recruiting and ATS, internships, employee transactions and accompanying documentation, performance management, compensation, compliance and policies, diversity outreach, metrics and reporting, compensation, and benefits.
Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establish human resources strategy and goals aligned business goals and strategies.
Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the companys objectives.
