Provide for influencing members of Congress, Administration officials, congressional and agency staff, governmental committees, and other stakeholders in a positive manner towards HCSC interests and positions.
The AED is responsible for the monitoring and analysis of federal legislative and regulatory activities; providing advocacy leadership for ACEPs positions on issues to legislators, regulators, staff at the federal government level, and to the media; establishing and maintaining good liaison relationships with members of Congress and their staff.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and administer policy, organization structures and procedures including staffing. Oversees daily operations, finances, including preparation of the annual operating budget.
Maximize gift potential of managed prospects through effective movement through the fundraising process cultivation, solicitation and stewardship;effectively solicit five-, six- and seven-figure philanthropic gifts.
Use established relationships with key FCC staff and industry to monitor and influence policy decisions on matters that affect company's business and regulatory obligations. Communicate company's leadership role on issues of importance to the Commission.
