Support S&T editors with the editing and development of various IC R & D journals, manages info on a collaborative site, conducts outreach to promote publications, manages review process; identifies and implements work flow efficiencies, where appropriate; edits and formats manuscripts.
Coordinates of the editing, composition, production, and delivery in accordance with applicable specifications, standards, and other requirements. Participates in the establishment of guidelines and standards for text and graphics.
Writes and drafts policy directives, the strategic plan and other planning documents. Plans, reviews and manages the flow of policy in the review process, and loads the policy onto the policy web page using MS FrontPage.
Assist with providing intelligence production activities. Review, edit, and proofread finished intelligence products and other material to ensure accuracy and consistency with client format and style guidelines, accepted rules of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Edit and write breaking news, service stories and features. This journalist will work with reporters and freelancers to produce content for digital, our Sunday Personal Finance print supplement and other print editions.
The Managing Editor will report to the Chief Research Officer and regularly coordinate with Research managers and staff. The Managing Editor will supervise editors assigned to multiple Research Divisions, consisting of full- and part-time editors, working on and off-site.

Support efforts to enhance the discover ability of data and information by working with legacy content and analytic customers and authors in the review of standard and nonstandard GEOINT products to determine the appropriate metadata and keyword tagging and editing metadata, as appropriate.
