In this role, the selected candidate will be drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a variety of technology transactions (both inbound and outbound) including, but not limited to licensing agreements, software development contracts, services and consulting agreements, hardware, content and other technology agreements.
The candidate must have experience and expertise in REIT and partnership taxation and have significant knowledge in other issues affecting structuring of real estate investments (e.g., FIRPTA, 1031, 163(j), and ERISA).
Interested candidates must have Security Clearance law experience dealing with military members, federal employees, defense contractors, and administrative law experience before the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working with health system organizations in building/enforcing compliance programs and policies and developing recommendations to advise company executives, sales and marketing, product groups and clinical research departments.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience assessing export and import compliance processes, procedures and resources; preparing or reviewing export licenses; providing recommendations; and developing policies and procedures.
A successful candidate should be proactive, entrepreneurial, enjoy working hard and being challenged, have strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrate sound and pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situations, and have a healthy sense of humor.
In this role, the selected candidate will be advising on a full range of issues associated with investment advisors and mutual funds, including compliance matters, investment vehicles, governance structures, etc.
