Performs design and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines and/or machines.
Act as project leader for large scale, complex, manufacturing projects to ensure manufacturing success through cross-functional collaboration with other business units, coordination of overall project and budget management.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical leadership for assigned product lines; provide troubleshooting for quality and process improvement activities; process improvements in the form of scrap/waste reduction.
Responsible for driving multiple improvement programs through to implementation and following-up on the results achieved, including: Quality Monitoring and Actions, Production Efficiency, Improve Assembly Methods, Document, Validate and Implement Approved Changes in accordance with Medical Device and Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will lead the effort to improve shop floor processes, tooling, equipment, and training to ensure quality and productivity. This may include design or re-design of work-holding fixtures, gauging fixtures, cutting tools, etc.
