In this role, you will support Category Managers develop supply and sourcing strategies with research and planning, including simple to complex requests for information, requests for proposal, and competitive bids, using standard accepted procurement protocol.
In this role, you will be responsible for the acquisition of engineered equipment and/or bulk materials at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of safety, quality, reliability of source and urgency of the requirement.
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Logistics Analyst are to analyze and improve the performance of the inbound supply chain. The Analyst will be required to manipulate data in various systems to find improvements in cost and/or transit time, run KPIs, maintain freight rates databases, optimize data quality, and otherwise support the international logistics team.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain reference documentation. This documentation includes definition and source of data elements; supply junior and mid-level business systems analysts with guidance and support as needed.
In this role, you will evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
In this role, the selected candidate will assure that purchase orders and Supplier Schedules comply to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well as Uniform Commercial Code and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
In this position, you will plan, manage, and coordinate multiple category sourcing projects. Evaluate opportunities by category to ensure that the desired business results are achieved based on best total value (savings, quality, delivery, etc.).
In this role, you will develop tools for end users to monitor and measure processes, including reporting definitions and data validation. The selected candidate will also be responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the Company's needs for indirect goods and services, fixed assets and tooling.
