The R&D Formulation Scientist will be responsible for all aspects of product development for topical cosmetic and OTC products, such as formulation development, sourcing raw materials, and oversee the process from scale-up through launch.
Responsible for becoming proficient in a breadth of methodologies including but not limited to compendial test methods, raw material test methods, HPLC, electrophoresis, spectrophotometric, compendial test methods, and ELISA.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for process development, scale-up, technology transfer, establishing and optimizing commercial manufacturing processes for compounding and filling of solids, soft-chews, non-sterile liquids and sterile inject (aseptic manufacturing) platforms, as well as collaborating and partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality organizations.
Your main responsibility will be to convert genomic data to knowledge for thousands of microbes in our screening program in order to make better selections of microbes that could have beneficial impacts on crops. You would need to be able to present complex data analyses in a structured and accessible way to different stakeholders.
Responsible for reporting issues to management and participating in issue resolution ( such as reporting OOS result and participating in associated laboratory investigation, reporting instrument issues and assisting with troubleshooting, etc. )
The position requires strategic and creative thinking, independent and team research and interaction with R&D scientists, Product Development, Leaf Operations, external academic collaborators and contract farmers.
The Research Scientist is a member of the Global Research and Evaluation faculty whose focus is making significant contributions to theories in leadership, leadership development, or other relevant disciplines and generating innovative ideas or approaches for CCL.
