Seeking individual with 5+ years product development or senior underwriting experience to oversee the creation, development, launch and management of a new Property Insurance Program to include: Commercial Property, Inland Marine, Commercial Crime, and Equipment Breakdown.
Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues; analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery.
Manages mid to large-size jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance. Supervises, directs and motivates the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects. Ensures customer satisfaction during and at final project completion.
Identify opportunities to Lean and simplify processes for sustained productivity gains and customer impact which drive each solution to completion; effectively work with teams that involve cross-functional members.
Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs.
Work alongside the Business Analyst/SMEs and technical staff to understand the goals/objectives of the project in order to assist in creating deliverables and supporting project documentation for inclusion in Advanced Planning Documents (APD) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
Creates an environment that encourages identifying, managing and controlling risks. Ability to analyze present-state, develop future state alternatives and facilitate implementation. Analyzes process data to recognize systemic flaws that require process redesign and performance fluctuations that should be addressed.
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Operations and other functions to ensure efficient and timely project deliverables to both internal and external customers. Develops the program scope and objectives based on the business needs and corporate initiatives.
